Title: New Approaches in Age-Related Macular Degeneration and Geographic Atrophy

This lecture presents epidemiology, classification, and imaging biomarkers of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD). The lecture will cover clinical recommendations for ARMD based on preferred practice patterns. This lecture will also discuss geographic atrophy (GA) as well as the complement pathway and it’s influence on GA. Complement inhibitors and photobiomodulation will be covered.
